Ballimore is surrounded with great walking areas and is situated near Ben Cruachan which is ideal for climbers and walkers and Glen Coe is near enough for those who prefer to ski.

There are boat trips on Loch Etive - A cruise on 'MARA' allows you to soak up some of the most dramatic scenery in Scotland inaccessible except by boat. Snow capped mountains, steep glens, isolated farms, waterfalls and golden beaches are just some of the magnificent sights to be seen on this lovely loch. The 'MARA' pauses close to a seal colony to enable photographs to be taken and towards the head of the loch, Golden and Sea Eagles are becoming increasingly more frequent visitors.
