
The Lodge at Ballimore was built in 2004 set in a private position looking over the Ballimore Estate below. It is a comfortable, one double bedroom lodge, fitted out to a high specification. It has a fitted bathroom with a shower / bath; a fully equipped kitchen; open plan to the kitchen it has a good-sized living dinning area on the ground floor with a sleeping platform above. From the sitting room there is direct access to the terrace with views to the south over the estate and Loch.
This self catering lodge is perfect for active couples to enjoy walking, cycling, canoeing or just the peaceful tranquility within this beautiful remote place. Loch Tromlee within the grounds of the Estate offers pike and perch fishing, nearby Loch Awe offer trout and salmon fishing.
Cotton bed linen, towels and a 100% goose down duvet are provided. Hair dryers also available.

The Ballimore estate properties were newly built in 2003 to be as eco-friendly as possible with a wind turbine, reedbed and solar fans. There is multi fuel stove in the cottage, all the fresh water comes from the hill and is very soft spring water.
Nearby Loch Awe local photographer Phillip Price offers wildlife and photography experience courses providing camera equipment. Courses are from one day to a week in duration. A discount of 5% will be applied to any Loch vision clients using our cottages.
