A Family run Scottish Country Retreat within a working Farm in Argyll
We understand how important it is to spend quality time with your loved ones, family and friends and we strive to provide the ideal peaceful environment to do exactly that and provide our guests with a home away from home!
Ballimore Farm Estate provides comfortable accommodation with plenty of outdoor space to groups at the Farm House and Cottage.
Throughout the past 15 years Ballimore Farm Estate has been brought back to being working farm and we have established our self-catering holiday lets hosting a large number of groups coming together for family re-unions, anniversary and birthday celebrations and even hosted a couple of small intimate weddings.
Every year we look forward to welcoming holiday makers and Scotland Explorers from all over the world.

Ballimore Main House, Cottage and Lodge are 1.5miles from Kilchrenan and 5 miles from Taynuilt, Oban is a short drive away and Glasgow Airport is 1.5 hours South.
Ballimore Farm Estate is a family run working farm, offering self-catering accommodation for different tastes and budgets. Guests will meet our Highland Cattle fold, Hebridean Sheep and Blackfaced Sheep flocks on our fields when walking or driving through the Estate. Local wildlife includes buzzards, eagles, ospreys, hen harriers, black grouses, whooper swans and canada geese but also red squirrels, pine martins, foxes, red deer, otters, minx and wild cats. Regular seasonal visitors around the house include cuckoos, swifts and swallows.
ARGYLL ACCOMMODATION
The Farm House offers a comfortable interior with five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a library, south facing terrace and a heated indoor swimming pool, comfortably accommodating 10 people. The well-equipped one bedroom Cottage is perfect for couples or small families.
Both properties on the farm can be rented individually or as a whole, depending on the time of year and availability.
